Don't stop BE-LEAFING.....

Summer is slowly fading. Well, Maybe? Temperatures in 100 Degree range one day, then chilly weather the next, and NO rain for a week or so? If you are from Minnesota, you know that is just the way it goes!

Fall is my favorite month. I know I am biased. It is my birthday month but something about Fall that gives the feeling of "RENEWAL," change, and I JUST LOVE IT. It is my favorite month to teach Yoga. The outdoors, the colors in the trees, the wind, it feels so grounding.

What has been happening with Deaf North Yoga?

We still have our 7:00 a.m. classes every day Monday-Friday except Thursday.
We have one night class on Tuesday and will add on when more people stay home due to the weather.
We have a core group of Yogis that we see every day, and our guest yogis who show up once in a while. We welcome all of you to our Yoga family.

Deaf North Yoga and Yogis were featured on TV. Thank you to Albert W. for being willing to interview. Thank you, all the Yogis across the states for joining in class. This resulted in some amazing and beautiful connections with different people, yoga teachers and organizations. It is with gratitude to connect.

How do maximize your Senses this Fall for Self-Care?

Some ideas for a personal or group Self-Care Activity.

Find a leaf, one that appeals to you.

Think about why you selected that leaf.
Feel it. Analyze the feeling of the leaf. The texture. Rub it in your
hands, use your fingertips and thumbs to explore.
Admire the color, the design, shape, the space where you found it, and
the tree that let it go.
Breathe in and smell the air, the leaf, the wind, the natural outdoor aroma.

Add on to your experience: Stand under a tree and catch the leaves that fall. It is not as easy as you think especially when so many are happening at one time. Be surprised at the joy you feel, and embrace it.
or
Simply lay down on the ground and make Leaves Angels.

What is Reiki?
